Artwork
Once upon a time, I was a photographer studying black & white darkroom processing, producing conceptual works, and installations, all while studying alternative processes and working as a teaching assistant. I still dabble in real film from time to time and I suspect I always will. I am currently using these skills for product photography and enjoying the process.
In my early days in artmaking, I felt flummoxed by drawing. It was never something that came easily to me until I found an instructor that pushed line and emotion over precise representation. He taught us to use our entire body and whatever was at our disposal over being precious and from that subtle change, my love of lines was born.
